Signs & Scenes Gallery 2014 PART I

GALLERY

An eclectic “photo gallery” of signs and scenes captured in Petaluma, Sonoma & Marin Counties, and Northern California…

A work in progress…I am releasing Part I now given the number of photos I’ve selected.

Part II will be completed and released in December 2014

NOTE

Looking back at the photos for this year, as well as those I published in previous galleries , I realize that in almost all cases the photos are set in locales in the older or restored areas of town, whether it is Petaluma, Sonoma, or Santa Rosa. For me those locations present the more interesting photo ops and in all cases, that is where the people are…interacting with their  urban environment and architecture.  I have not had the same experience when I am walking around in areas that have been “redeveloped” as opposed to “restored.”  They all look pretty much the same, regardless of their location.

My goal, such as it may be, is to document as much as I can before it is gone.

Upon reflection (and another photo shoot) perhaps the gentleman deserves color!
